Just returned from a wonderful vacation in Italy. This was the third Italian trip Ingrid has planned for us. We have never been disappointed with a hotel, restaurant, drivers, or tour that she has planned for us. She has stayed in the hotels, eaten at the restaurants, and taken the tours because she wants only the best for her clients. Once you arrive at your destination you don’t have to worry about doing anything but having fun. Ingrid will have set up your transportation to your hotel, your hotel reservations, made restaurant reservations, set up your tours. You will truly be spoiled! We would never consider an international trip without Ingrid planning it for us.

Ingrid helped us to create an amazing and unforgettable trip to Sicily. Everything went off without a hitch and having a detailed itinerary helped us to stay on track. I met Ingrid Michlin many years ago through her husband Lee who I knew through my workplace…my wife and I wanted to take a trip to Italy and we didn’t know where to begin. Enter Ingrid.
Ingrid drove up in a meticulously restored older Mercedes sedan. The car was magnificent and was representative of Ingrid’s sense of style, appreciation of design and attention to detail in her trip planning I would soon learn. I was immediately struck by the breadth & depth of her knowledge about Italy. I was sold on Ingrid that day. Ingrid has imagined, planned & arranged our several trips to Europe since that day, every trip a raging success.
Ingrid makes dream trips come true. She arranges magical moments whose timeless imagery is forever emblazoned in your lifetime memory vault. I remember one such moment on a hotel rooftop in Florence, Italy which Ingrid had arranged for us. I recall surveying Florence from high above, wine glass in hand, marveling at the history, the grandeur & the immense beauty of a magnificent city rich in history & loveliness. I will forever look back on that momentous scene as our wonderful introduction to the Tuscany region of Italy as curated by Ingrid. Thank you, Ingrid.

Our time in Sorrento has been our favorite so far in Italy. Yesterday we had so many adventures 😂 We trekked down the cliff side, successfully found the beach, tried octopus and clam spaghetti, more wine of course, saw the most beautiful flowers and alleys, pet some of the local dogs, tried on some beautiful Italian clothes recommended to me by a gorgeous Italian woman (too revealing though! 😬)had a cannoli and ended the night with the most amazing pineapple and basil gelato. The best part, endless adventures with my honey! We could not have done this without Ingrid’s Travel by Design, LLC. Thanks again, Ingrid Michlin!
