Pura Vida – Land in Costa Rica’s International Airport. Be met by your multi-lingual guide who sweeps up your luggage and directs you to a waiting mini van. Here you have a choice of several luxury hotels in San Jose to rest and unwind from your flight. After a comfortable evening, you guide and drive pick you up the next morning and drive you to the mangrove covered, low land Caribbean coast.

There’s a stop for a light lunch of rice, beans, fried plantains and refreshing fruit drinks before you come to the end of the road traveling east. Here you transfer to a boat, for you have entered the lowlands of Costa Rica’s east coast containing many islands. Your resort living is a bit rustic, but very environmentally conscious and comfortable with family style buffet dining in a main structure.

The fun begins; besides a lovely, sandy beach, every morning & evening there are nature ‘hikes/boat trips’ and, depending on the season, you may be able to go out at night to witness nesting sea turtles. Our love affair with frogs was born with the red-eyed tree frog and the blue jeans poison arrow frog!

What a treat!

Whitewater rafting, hiking Mount Kilimanjaro, trout fishing in New Zealand, zip-lining through the rain forest, golfing on your dream course, viewing the northern lights from Lapland, driving a Ferrari through Tuscany….you tell us and we will make it happen.
